Terms
Plain terms for an alpha. Tenjin is a place to publish essays and be paid per read. By connecting a wallet and using the service, you agree to the following.
Using Tenjin
You may read, pay for, and publish essays. You are responsible for the wallet you connect, for keeping its keys safe, and for the work you publish under it. You must be able to form a binding agreement to use the service.
What you publish
Publish only work you have the right to publish. Do not post anything unlawful, infringing, or that you do not own or hold a licence to. We may remove work that breaks these terms or the law, and may suspend a wallet that does so repeatedly.
Writers keep 90%
When a reader pays for your essay, you receive 90% of the price and Tenjin keeps 10% to run the platform. Prices are yours to set, including free. The split and fee may change as the platform leaves alpha; any change applies only to payments made after it takes effect.
Your work
You keep all rights to what you write. You grant Tenjin a non-exclusive licence to host your work and deliver it to the readers and agents who pay for it, for as long as you keep it published on the platform.
Payments are final
Payments settle on-chain through x402 and are non-refundable — an essay you have paid for stays in your library to re-read. On-chain transactions are irreversible; we cannot reverse, refund, or recover a payment, and we are not responsible for losses from a mistyped address, a lost key, or network fees.
Alpha software, no warranty
Tenjin is in alpha. Features may change or break, and the service is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranty. To the extent the law allows, Tenjin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Questions go to hello@tenjin.blog.
